Our beloved mother lost her courageous battle in this life after a lengthy illness on July 3, 2006. She was born in Ensign, Texas on March 14, 1928. She married her husband of 50 years, Bill, who preceded her in death, on May 1, 1949. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ed and Conrad . She is survived by her son Bill Lewis and his wife, Debbie, daughters Cindy K. Lewis and Lori A. Lewis and grandchildren Angie and Matt Talbert, Billy Lewis and fiance Kristen, and Bobby Lewis. She is also survived by her brother Al Muirhead and his wife Nancy, nieces Ann Muirhead, Amy Penland and Karen Scruggs and her husband Dale and her aunt, Katie Muirhead. She also leaves behind special friends Dr. Sydney Bonnick, Elaine Johnson, Sally Gobel and Pam Schronk. The family would like to thank Dr. Cynthia Muller and the staff at Bishop Davies Nursing Center for their love and care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a contribution be made in their mother's memory to the charity of your choice.
The Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday July 7, 2006 in the Mulkey-Mason Chapel 705 North Locust St. Denton, Texas 76201. The Rev. Terry Bloss will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park , Denton, Texas.
Visitation will be 12 to 1 pm before the service Friday.
