IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Adam Matthew
Kucia
November 20, 1975 – January 7, 2023
Adam Matthew Kucia, 47, of Lantana, Texas, quickly slipped from this world and went home to be with Jesus on January 7, 2023.
Adam was born on November 20, 1975, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Edward and Judith Kucia. He earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Upon graduation in 1998, he moved to Columbus, Ohio where he began a 21-year career with Honda of America Manufacturing. At Honda he met the love of his life Carrie, and they were married on Waikiki Beach on June 26, 2009. Three beautiful daughters soon joined their union. In 2021, Adam and his family moved to Texas to further pursue his career with Caterpillar Inc. in Strategic Supply Chain Management. He and Carrie are members of Northside Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio, and attend Southmont Baptist Church in Denton, Texas.
Adam knew how to light up a room. He loved well. He laughed hard. He lived life to the fullest. His faithfulness and devotion to his wife and daughters as their protector and provider was beyond measure. Adam made a positive impact on so many people's lives both personally and professionally. He invested in others freely and was a mentor to many. He will always be remembered for his clever wit, note-taking capabilities, collaboration skills, and his way with words. His sincere leadership, gentle guidance, and wise counsel will truly be missed. Adam was deeply loved by everyone who knew him because he found joy in allowing God to work through him.
Adam is survived by his wife Carrie Elizabeth (Miller) Kucia along with their three daughters, Scarlett Eden (11), Elizabeth Jane (8), and Rosemary Judith (6); brothers, Michael (Lori) Andrzejewski, Brian (Jennifer) Kucia, Sam (Barb) Kucia, Tony (Markie) Kucia, Ben (Jacki) Kucia, Eric (Sharon) Kucia; mother and father-in-law, Jane Ann and Lewis Miller; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Keith) Duncan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and three uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Kucia as well as his parents Edward John and Judith Helen (Zehnal) Kucia.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM with a celebration of his life following at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Southmont Baptist Church, 2801 Pennsylvania Drive, Denton, TX. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
