Obituary
A. George Biggs, age 95, of Highland Village, Texas, and former resident of Carrollton, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010, at his home.
He was born November 14, 1914 in Dallas, Texas to William A. Biggs and Jessie Putnam Biggs. George was a 1938 graduate of SMU School of Law. He married Virginia Evans on January 19, 1944 in Dallas. She preceded him in death on February 27, 2003. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. George was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation and worked as an attorney.
He is survived by his son, Charles A. Biggs and wife, Virginia B. Biggs of Highland Village; grandchildren, Scott A. Biggs and Lynn Walker and great grandchildren, Edie and Ellie Walker.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2010, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. The Reverend David W. Holland will officiate the service.
