Carrie Minor, age 95, of Lewisville, Texas, and former resident of Branson, departed this life Saturday, October 27, 2007, at her daughter's home in Lewisville.

She was born November 29, 1911 in Many Islands, Arkansas to John Wesley England and Ollie Taylor England. She was united in marriage October 14, 1935 at Alton, Missouri to R.F. Minor. He preceded her in death in 1975. Carrie and husband, Bob,

moved to Branson in 1957 and enjoyed trout and bass fishing and watching the small town grow in a major resort area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branson. Carrie has lived with her daughter in Lewisville, Texas for the past 4 years.

She is survived by a son, Robert Charles Minor and wife, Jane Ann of Salmon, Idaho and a daughter Eloise Davis and husband, Larry of Lewisville, Texas; three grandchildren, Sherry Smith of Irving, Texas, Jeffrey Minor and wife, Jill of Salmon, Idaho and Leslie Blackburn and husband, Mike of Portsmouth, Virginia; two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; one brother, Orphis England and wife, Beulah of Hardy, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Eula England of Salem, Arkansas; nieces and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ira T. England and one infant sister.
